About Telos China
Welcome to Telos China! We’re a Bucharest-based international trade consultancy with a bilingual Romanian–Chinese team and a Shenzhen branch office. We help businesses in Romania and Europe access Chinese manufacturing and turn their ideas into reality. Telos China can take care of every part of the product import lifecycle: from finding manufacturers, Chinese contract negotiation, QC & QA, all the way to container shipping and customs clearance.

Bucharest, Romania
Telos China is headquartered in Bucharest, Romania and registered as a Telos Innovation Hub SRL. Our local point of presence allows us to work and collaborate with our clients in-person, both in Romania and in the EU.
Shenzhen, China
Telos China has a 1,200 m² QA and trans-shipment warehouse that serves as the base of our China operations. Here our China VPs have access to the vibrant Shenzhen manufacturing base, tapping in with their network of in-person connections. We receive all products at our Shenzhen warehouse and perform QA prior to releasing them for final shipment.
Meet the Team
Radu Octavian
Director of European Operations
Radu Octavian is an entrepreneur and business person in Romania. The owner of a publishing house and ecommerce store, Radu knows first-hand the needs of business owners and entrepreneurs. Radu is the director of our operations in Romania and serves the key role of connecting Romanian and European clients with manufacturers in China.
Radu has published several books on entrepreneurship and business psychology.
Wang Yanqi
China VP
Wang Yanqi is a founding VP and specializes in negotiating commercial relationships with manufacturers of electronics, consumer products, lifestyle, scientific, and outdoors equipment. With over 20 years of experience in the electronics market of Shenzhen, Yanqi has access to a broad network of electronics manufacturers. Prior to joining Telos China, Yanqi worked with clients in New York and San Francisco and now leverages that experience to secure competitive container and sub-container shipping rates for our customers.
Yanqi is a fluent Romanian speaker and owns a house in Ilfov, right next to the Centura București. She splits her time between Bucharest and Shenzhen, visiting every summer.
Hong Huiming
China VP
Hong Huiming brings end-to-end manufacturing expertise to Telos China. Specializing in clothing, athleticwear, and housewares, Huiming has launched several brands in China. Huiming has spent ten years as a factory owner with his own production line in Fujian, China. The relationships he forged with tool- and mold-makers, logistics providers, and fellow factory owners now give our clients direct access to reliable suppliers and insider pricing. Drawing upon his extensive, personal network of manufacturers, Huiming plays an essential role in finding suppliers and negotiating contracts.
Hong Huiming spent six years working as an entrepreneur in Romania before moving back to China to start his own factory. Huiming enjoys Ursus beer, and he still imports several cases each year.
Chen Manjia
Quality Assurance Lead
Chen Manjia is Telos China’s quality assurance lead, and she oversees the QA & QC process at our 1,200 m² QA and trans-shipment warehouse in Shenzhen, China. Manjia leads a team of several QA testers and is responsible for communicating with factories and suppliers, as well as organizing replacements for items that did not pass quality control.
Chen Manjia is studying English and enjoys working with clients at Telos as it gives her a chance to practice her writing.
